Document set These documents work together. The Terms govern use of VueSend, the Privacy Policy explains data handling, the Acceptable Use Policy sets platform rules, and the DPA applies to customer personal data processed on behalf of a workspace.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to VueSend.com, VueSend account administration, support, billing, website visitors, product usage, security monitoring, marketing, sales, and other situations where VueSend decides why and how personal data is processed.

For subscriber data, contact lists, campaign recipients, signup form submissions, preference center data and similar data processed on behalf of a customer, VueSend generally acts as processor or service provider. In those cases, the customer is responsible for its own privacy notices and lawful basis, and the Data Protection Addendum applies where required.

2. Personal data we collect

We may collect account data such as name, email address, company name, workspace name, role, password hash, locale, timezone, settings and authentication logs.

We may collect business and billing data such as plan, invoices, payment status, billing contact, tax details, customer communications and support requests.

We may collect usage and device data such as IP address, browser, device type, pages viewed, product events, feature usage, audit logs, diagnostics, approximate location, cookies, pixels, identifiers and security signals.

When customers use VueSend, we process subscriber and campaign data such as email addresses, names, tags, segment membership, consent fields, unsubscribes, suppressions, opens, clicks, bounces, complaints, form submissions, automation events, Smart Link clicks and revenue attribution events.

3. Sources of personal data

We collect personal data directly from users, from customer uploads, from signup forms and preference centers, from campaign interactions, from connected domains and integrations, from service providers, from payment and support tools, and from logs created when the service is used.

4. How we use personal data

We use personal data to provide and secure VueSend, create and manage accounts, operate workspaces, send campaigns on customer instructions, provide forms and automations, process support requests, bill customers, monitor deliverability, detect abuse, prevent fraud, improve features, communicate with users and comply with law.

We may use aggregated or de-identified information to understand usage, improve performance, benchmark deliverability, develop features and produce business insights, provided it does not identify an individual.

5. Legal bases

Where GDPR or similar laws apply, our legal bases may include performance of a contract, legitimate interests such as security and service improvement, compliance with legal obligations, consent where required, and protection of vital interests in exceptional circumstances.

Customers are responsible for having their own lawful basis for subscriber data, marketing permissions, tracking, cookies and any data imported into VueSend.

6. Cookies, tracking and analytics

VueSend may use cookies, local storage, pixels, server logs and similar technologies for login sessions, security, preferences, analytics, product improvement and campaign tracking.

Customers using VueSend tracking, signup forms, Smart Links or embedded scripts are responsible for providing required notices and obtaining consent where local law requires it.

7. How we share personal data

We may share personal data with service providers and subprocessors that help us provide hosting, email delivery, analytics, storage, payments, customer support, security, monitoring, DNS, logging and infrastructure services.

We may share data with integrations configured by the customer, with workspace users, with professional advisors, with authorities where required by law, and in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, corporate restructuring or sale of assets.

We do not sell customer subscriber lists. We do not use customer subscriber data for targeted advertising outside the service unless the customer has configured a feature that requires such processing and applicable law permits it.

8. International transfers

VueSend and its providers may process personal data in Denmark, the EU/EEA, the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. Where required, VueSend uses appropriate transfer safeguards such as adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses, contractual commitments and supplementary security measures.

9. Retention

We retain personal data for as long as needed to provide VueSend, meet contractual commitments, comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, maintain security, keep business records and honor deletion requests.

Retention periods vary by data type. For example, account data is generally kept while the account is active, billing records may be kept for tax and accounting purposes, logs may be kept for security and troubleshooting, and backup copies may persist for a limited period before deletion cycles complete.

10. Security

VueSend uses technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data, including access controls, encryption in transit, role-based access, logging, backups, least-privilege practices, monitoring and incident response procedures.

No system is perfectly secure. Users must protect passwords, devices, API keys and workspace access and should notify security@vuesend.com promptly about suspected unauthorized access.

11. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, object to or withdraw consent for certain personal data. You may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.

If you are a subscriber of a VueSend customer, you should usually contact that customer first because the customer controls the list and campaign relationship. VueSend may refer requests to the relevant customer unless law requires otherwise.

12. Children

VueSend is not intended for children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal data to VueSend, contact privacy@vuesend.com.

13. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy by posting a revised version and changing the last updated date. Material changes will be communicated in a reasonable way when required.

14. Contact

Privacy questions and requests can be sent to privacy@vuesend.com. Legal notices can be sent to legal@vuesend.com.
